taskt lets you create a task, share a link, and get proof when it's done. You write what needs doing, share the link, and they tap it in their browser to complete it. You keep a timestamped record with photos or files, not just a quick "done" message somewhere else.

Anyone who delegates work to people who aren't at a desk: shift supervisors, restaurant managers, cleaning crews, caretakers, small logistics operators, and franchisees. If you already hand out jobs by message or chat, taskt adds tracking and proof without changing how you share the link.

Type what needs doing in the box on the home page, tap Create & share, sign in with Google or email (senders only), then share the link — copy it or use your phone's share sheet. Most people can do this in under a minute. You can also tap Send yourself a test task to try the full flow.

Senders can use taskt in the browser or install it to your home screen for quicker access. Receivers never need an app — they open the link in their phone browser.

Open taskt.io in the latest Chrome app — not from WhatsApp or another in-app browser. Tap Install at the top of the page. If Google Play Protect blocks it, use Chrome's three-dot menu → Add to Home screen instead. You still get quick access without the full app install.

No. They open the link in their browser. No signup, password, or app install. The link is the product.

They see the task from you, any attachments you added, and a due time if you set one. They mark it done and attach proof if you required it. You'll see whether they've opened the link ("seen") before they finish.

They can message you elsewhere, but photos and "done" replies outside the link aren't your official record. The share message reminds them to complete on the link — proof sent elsewhere won't be recorded.

Yes. They can choose Can't do this, add a reason, and you'll see that on your task list instead of chasing them manually.

If they sign in after completing a task, they can save it under Assigned to me on the home screen. Useful when the same person gets tasks from you regularly.

Photos or files they attach when marking done — or that you require before they can finish. Turn Proof required on when creating a task so they must attach something to complete it.

Yes. Attach up to 3 files when you create the task (photos, PDFs, documents). They can download them from the task page.

Up to 3 proof files per task total. Images are compressed on their phone to keep uploads fast on slow connections.

You can reject and reopen a completed task, give a short reason, and ask them to submit again. Their link becomes active again.

Yes. After completion there's a proof record page showing who did it, when, notes, location (if shared), and files — clean enough to forward to a client or manager.

Photos and files are kept for 90 days, then removed. The task record (title, status, timestamps, who completed it, text notes) stays. Expired files show as "File expired (90 days)."

After you create a task, the share sheet opens with your link and a ready-to-send message. Copy the link or share through your phone's share options — however you usually send links to your team.

Yes. From your task list you can nudge with a prefilled follow-up message and the task link.

Task links show a preview card with the task title and who it's from, so it reads as a task, not a random URL.

Yes. You can send 10 tasks per month on the free plan with the full feature set. Your remaining count appears in the header when you're signed in.

Your free allowance is based on tasks you create each month. Unused tasks you cancel before anyone opens them can free up a slot again. Unused or unopened tasks don't count toward your limit.

You'll see a message that you've used your 10 tasks for the month. Your existing tasks and records are never deleted.

Premium with unlimited task sending is coming soon. The free plan gives you 10 tasks per month with the full feature set. We'll let you know when unlimited sending is ready.

No. One account is one sender. You're not paying per person you send tasks to.

Your task list shows Seen vs Not seen when they first open the link — before they finish. That's often more useful than waiting for "done."

Sign in with email so we know where to send completion updates. You'll be notified when tasks are completed or marked can't-do.

Yes. Quick options like today or tomorrow, or pick a date and time. Overdue tasks are highlighted; late completions are recorded as done late, not blocked.

Yes. Switch to list mode and add up to 20 items. They tick items off on the same link; you see progress (e.g. 3/5).

You can post updates on a task (questions, extra context). Both sides can see the thread on the task page.

Completion time, any proof files, optional note, and location if the receiver allows it. If they decline location, the record shows "Location not shared" — completion still works.

Links use unguessable IDs. Only people with the link can open the task. Don't share links in public channels if the task is sensitive.

taskt is built by the team behind Storecall (storecall.co.za). taskt is for quick one-off tasks with proof; Storecall is for recurring checklists, teams, and multiple sites.

Messaging apps deliver the message but don't track what's done, keep proof in one place, or show whether someone even opened the task. taskt gives you a record you can trust and chase less.

Those tools need everyone to install an app and sign up. Frontline staff often won't. taskt only requires the sender to sign in; receivers just tap a link.

If you send the same checklist every day, manage multiple locations, or need team dashboards and roles, that's Storecall's territory. taskt is deliberately simple: one link, one doer, proof when it's done.
